My work in Woodstock
In 2023, I was appointed to fill a vacancy on the Selectboard by unanimous vote of the board. I was elected on Town Meeting Day 2024 to finish the balance of the term. Since then, the Selectboard has developed goals and priorities to help guide our budget process and decisionmaking. In the fall of 2024, we led a public education campaign culminating in two successful public votes to acquire the Woodstock Aqueduct Company, finance necessary infrastructure projects, and purchase 350+acres, doubling the town’s landholdings.
Prior to serving on the Selectboard, I was the Clerk of the Planning Commission. In that role I helped update our zoning bylaws to reflect the needs of our community and incorporate state recommendations. I also helped improve the Commission’s website by creating a central, public portal for important documentation. I still serve on the Planning Commission as an ex officio member.
More about me
I received my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Sociology and Criminal Justice from Villanova University. While I was there, I met my husband, John, who grew up in Pomfret and graduated from Woodstock Union High School in 2006. We have two amazing (and cute) kids.
I work as a consultant for small businesses - helping teams with operations, marketing, user research, whatever needs doing.
I’m a big time government nerd and I love chocolate cake.
